Koryx Copper reveals promising drill results from its Haib copper project in Namibia.
The company announced assay results from 17 drill holes totaling 6,430 m, showcasing wide intercepts and high-grade copper and silver. Notably, the highest copper grade recorded at Haib reached 8.01% from surface in drill hole HMRC008.
Significant Drill Results at Haib Copper Project
Koryx Copper’s latest drilling results highlight the potential of the Haib copper project. The assay results indicate consistent, wide intercepts, with HM155 showing 0.27% copper equivalent from surface to 831 m, including 244 m at 0.42% copper equivalent. Other drill holes, HM139 and HM147, also reported continuous zones of mineralization, further emphasizing the project’s scale.
The highest grades recorded at Haib to date include 8.01% copper and 60.5 g/t silver, reinforcing the project’s attractiveness. These results are crucial as Koryx Copper approaches the end of its infill drilling phase.
Ongoing Drilling and Future Plans
Drilling at the Haib project continues with 15 drill rigs actively working, seven of which are operating on double shifts. The ongoing efforts aim to confirm the existing resource model while enhancing the overall mineral resource with by-product credits from molybdenum, gold, and silver.
Koryx Copper is preparing for an updated resource estimate, with results trending positively across the Haib system. The company expects to publish a prefeasibility study by the end of 2026.
