Macau’s entertainment landscape expands with a new immersive attraction.
Melco Resorts & Entertainment has launched “Studio City Stardust,” a 4D experience at Studio City Macau. This attraction features dynamic motion seating and multi-sensory technology, offering guests a simulated flying experience that lasts about 15 minutes.
Studio City Stardust Offers Unique Experiences
Studio City Stardust combines advanced hardware and visual content in a retro-futuristic setting. The attraction is designed to simulate flight with a dynamic motion seating system that allows movement in multiple directions. Each session accommodates up to 72 guests, ensuring an engaging experience.
Two distinct experiences are available at launch: “Alpha Flight,” which takes guests through alien canyons, and “Mysterious Island,” where they encounter dinosaurs. The immersive nature of the attraction is enhanced by a 23-speaker stereo sound system and synchronized wind, fog, and scent effects.
Macau’s Vision for Tourism and Leisure
Lawrence Ho Yau-lung, chairman and CEO of Melco Resorts, emphasized the importance of this launch for Macau’s tourism sector. He stated that the attraction aligns with the government’s vision of transforming Macau into a “World Centre of Tourism and Leisure.” This initiative is part of a broader strategy to diversify the city’s economy and enhance its appeal to international visitors.
