The recent opening of access points in Wau-Waria allows locals to utilize their bank accounts through agents for Mama Bank. This initiative is part of a broader strategy to improve financial literacy and access to services in the region.

Governor Elizabeth Genia emphasized that financial inclusion goes beyond just opening bank accounts. It involves equipping individuals with the necessary information to manage their finances effectively.

The MoU, signed between the Centre for Excellence in Financial Inclusion (Cefi) and the Wau-Waria development authority, aims to enhance financial literacy and business skills.
