Johannesburg Water Systems Show Signs of Recovery
Johannesburg Water is optimistic about the recovery of its systems following Rand Water’s maintenance efforts. The spokesperson, Nombuso Shabalala, indicated that the recovery process is underway, particularly at Diepsloot, Rabie Ridge, and President Park reservoirs. However, challenges persist at the Commando system, which includes areas like Brixton, Crosby, and Hursthill.
Operational interventions are being implemented overnight to bolster recovery efforts. These measures aim to ensure that water supply levels continue to rise across the affected areas.
