New Appointments Announced for Key Leadership Positions in Various Organizations

John Tuaim has been appointed Chairman of the board of the Mineral Resources Authority (MRA). He is joined by new board members Harry Kore, Jude Tukuliya, Donald Hehona, Steven Nukuitu, and Roger Kara, while three non-ex officio directors are still to be appointed.

New Leadership at Mineral Resources Authority

The appointment of John Tuaim as Chairman marks a significant shift in the governance of the MRA. His leadership will guide the authority in overseeing the mineral resources sector, which is vital for the country’s economy.

Andrew Cairns, the CEO of Westpac PNG, has taken on the role of President of the Australia Papua New Guinea Business Council. This position will allow him to foster stronger business ties between the two nations.

The council plays a crucial role in promoting trade and investment opportunities, and Cairns’ leadership is expected to enhance collaboration in various sectors.
