The Lagos State Government has appointed a new General Manager for its television station, marking a significant leadership change.
Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu approved the appointment of Mr. Kayode Oyekanmi as the new General Manager of Lagos State Television (LTV). This decision follows the disengagement of the previous General Manager, Mrs. Sola Kosoko.

Mr. Bode Agoro, the Lagos State Head of Service, presented the appointment letter to Mr. Oyekanmi during a ceremony at the Secretariat in Alausa, Ikeja. He highlighted that the appointment recognizes Oyekanmi’s dedication and diligence as a public servant.
Agoro expressed confidence in Oyekanmi’s ability to reposition LTV and wished him a successful tenure. Oyekanmi’s extensive experience in brand communications and public service positions him well for this role.

He holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration from the University of Lagos and a Bachelor’s degree in English Language and Education from Lagos State University. Oyekanmi is also an active member of the Nigeria Union of Journalists and the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations.
