Kaduna State is advancing its road infrastructure to enhance access to educational institutions.
The Kaduna State Government is focusing on road development at the Federal University of Applied Sciences, Kachia, and Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria. The Managing Director of the Kaduna State Roads Agency reported that the access road to the Federal University is 95 per cent complete, with delivery expected within two weeks.
Road Development at Federal University of Applied Sciences
The ongoing asphalt laying at the Federal University of Applied Sciences, Kachia, is part of a broader initiative by Governor Uba Sani. This project aims to improve connectivity to the institution and is one of 150 road projects covering 1,345 kilometres across Kaduna State.
With contractors mobilized to the site in October 2025, the final asphalt works will create a durable surface, enhancing access for students, staff, and the local community. This development is expected to stimulate local economic activities as well.
