Among Qatar’s businesses, 96 percent rank customer experience as a business priority for 2020, according to a new YouGov survey of IT decision-makers launched ahead of QITCOM.

Across Qatar, organizations are digitally transforming into Intelligent Enterprises that can enable Smart Cities and succeed in the Experience Economy. Qatar’s organizations that combine customer “x-data” with operational “o-data” will find the biggest business benefit. In the survey, 89 percent of respondents ranked customer experience as “very important” and another 7 percent ranked it as “somewhat important.”

Most of Qatar’s organizations leverage customer feedback to optimize customer experiences (72 percent) and collect customer feedback (54 percent). Top customer feedback channels include direct communication (64 percent), social media (55 percent), ratings/reviews (36 percent), and surveys (34 percent). “With 96 percent of Qatar’s businesses ranking customer experience as a 2020 business priority, Qatar’s CIOs understand that customer experience will drive Qatar’s Experience Economy competitiveness and enable Smart Cities to transform citizen experiences,” said Mazen Jabri, Managing Director, SAP Qatar.

Aligned with QITCOM’s theme “Safe Smart Cities,” SAP, the experience company and the Pearl Sponsor, will showcase the Intelligent Coffee Experience, Design to Operate – Power of Digital Supply Chain, Intelligent Entertainment Park, and Digital Boardroom. Partners include Itelligence, EXD, Invenio, and LTI. “QITCOM is an ideal platform for SAP to launch the Qatar customer experience survey,” added Mazen Jabri. “At QITCOM, we will showcase Intelligent Enterprise innovations that can optimize customer experiences, get closer to our customers and partners, and also exchange best practices in digital transformation.”

As part of SAP’s support for the TASMU Smart Program and Qatar National Vision 2030, at the TASMU area, SAP will showcase the Blockhouse, Intelligent Retail, and Intelligent Enterprise demos. At QITCOM, visit SAP in Hall 8 – Stand D28 at the Qatar National Convention Centre from 29 October – 1 November.  Attend the keynote presentation “Digital Disruptions and Business Opportunities in Urban Economies” by Marc Nolla, Vice President – DGTL, SAP EMEA South at the Smart Cities Expo Doha on the 30th of October, from 11 am to 12 pm at the Track: Innovation and Business Opportunities.
