The Vietnam Farmers’ Union recently celebrated agricultural innovation and scientific contributions.
On October 2, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Farmers’ Union recognized 42 individuals as “scientists of the farmers” for 2026. The event also awarded 24 prizes in the 11th national agricultural technical innovation contest for 2025–2026, highlighting significant contributions to agriculture and fisheries.
Recognition of Agricultural Innovators in Vietnam
The ceremony took place in Hanoi and was attended by notable figures, including Deputy Prime Minister Ho Quoc Dung. The event aimed to honor those who have made substantial contributions to national agriculture and fisheries development.
Among the recognized individuals was Associate Professor Dr. Ngo Van Manh from Nha Trang University, who was acknowledged for his impactful research. This recognition underscores the importance of scientific advancement in enhancing agricultural practices in Vietnam.
