UNILAG Honors 38 Members for Contributions During Customer Service Week

The University of Lagos is celebrating excellence in service during its International Customer Service Week.

Thirty-eight members of the university community were honored for their contributions to the institution. The celebration, themed ‘The Extra Mile,’ allows UNILAG to appreciate staff, students, and stakeholders while reviewing achievements and setting new targets.

UNILAG Honors Outstanding Contributors to Service

The Quality Assurance and SERVICOM Unit at the University of Lagos recognized 38 individuals for their exceptional service during the 2026 International Customer Service Week. This annual event provides a platform for the university to acknowledge those who have significantly enhanced its image and service delivery.

Prof. Olufemi Saibo, the Director of the Quality Assurance and SERVICOM Unit, emphasized the importance of this celebration. It not only appreciates contributions but also allows the university to reflect on its past year, identify areas for improvement, and set new goals.

Innovative Solutions for Enhanced Service Delivery

As part of the celebration, UNILAG unveiled the winning entry in the Quality Assurance System (QAS) App competition. This app, developed by students, aims to streamline the university’s complaint-management system, allowing issues to be lodged electronically for quicker responses.

With the QAS App, students can submit complaints without manual processes, improving efficiency and transparency. The app’s functionality will be demonstrated by the students who created it, showcasing their innovative approach to enhancing university services.
