Governor Uba Sani is rallying support for President Bola Tinubu’s re-election in Kaduna State.
At the APC presidential campaign launch, Sani emphasized Tinubu’s achievements in infrastructure, security, and education. He urged voters to prioritize the president’s track record over regional affiliations in the upcoming 2027 election.
Governor Sani Highlights Tinubu’s Achievements
During the campaign event, Sani pointed out significant federal investments in Kaduna State. He mentioned the ongoing reconstruction of the Kaduna-Birnin Gwari road, backed by N178 billion in federal funding. This project aims to enhance security and accessibility in the region.
Sani also noted improvements in the security situation, allowing safe travel to previously dangerous areas without police escorts. He challenged the opposition to demonstrate their own infrastructure accomplishments during their time in office.
Kaduna’s Infrastructure and Education Initiatives
The governor praised the reopening of over 300 schools and 150 primary healthcare centers that had been closed due to insecurity. He stated that these facilities are now operational, benefiting local communities significantly.
Furthermore, Sani highlighted the federal government’s commitment of N740 billion for the Abuja-Kaduna-Kano road project, which is nearing completion. He also mentioned Kaduna’s selection as the pilot state for a metropolitan rail project, with 5 million approved for development.
