Friends of Bawumia 2008 made a significant donation to the Accra Rehabilitation Centre, emphasizing the need for community support for vulnerable individuals.

The donation, made on behalf of former Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia for his 63rd birthday, included 10 bags of rice, tubers of yam, and bottled water. Other items donated were toilet rolls, baskets of tomatoes, garden eggs, crates of eggs, and detergents.
