This summer season has seen historic levels of air traffic across the country, with Casablanca Mohammed V Airport alone handling 46,439 passengers in just 24 hours during the first weekend of August. Other airports, including Marrakech-Menara and Rabat-Salé, also reported impressive numbers, reflecting a broader trend of growth in Moroccan air travel.

Airports of Morocco has reported a remarkable surge in passenger traffic this summer. Casablanca Mohammed V Airport achieved a record of 46,439 passengers in a single day, showcasing its pivotal role in the national airport network. Meanwhile, Marrakech-Menara Airport surpassed 30,000 passengers, and Rabat-Salé welcomed 9,226 passengers on its peak day.
Other airports also contributed to this growth, with Agadir-Al Massira handling 11,973 passengers and Tangier-Ibn Battouta recording 13,309 passengers. The most notable increases were seen in Dakhla and Tetouan, with passenger traffic rising by 45.2% and 36.14%, respectively, during peak days.
