A significant reconciliation has taken place within the National Union of Road Transport Workers in Lagos.
Fuji musician Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, known as Kwam 1, successfully mediated a reconciliation between Musiliu Akinsanya, aka MC Oluomo, and Mustapha Adekunle, known as Tafa Sego. This meeting occurred in Ijebu, Ogun State, and was attended by several NURTW leaders.
Kwam 1 Facilitates Historic Reconciliation
The reconciliation marks a pivotal moment for the NURTW, as the two leaders had a history of strained relations. Their disagreements over leadership and influence within the union had previously led to public confrontations, including a violent incident in January 2019 during an APC campaign rally in Lagos.
