Morocco is set to enhance support for its citizens abroad with the launch of Operation Marhaba in 2026.

Under King Mohammed VI’s directives, the Mohammed V Foundation for Solidarity will implement this operation starting June 10, 2026. It aims to provide comprehensive assistance to Moroccans living abroad, utilizing a network of 26 reception centers both in Morocco and key European transit points.

Operation Marhaba: A Comprehensive Support System

The Mohammed V Foundation for Solidarity is gearing up for Operation Marhaba, which will run from June 10 to September 15, 2026. This initiative will activate a reception system at midnight in Morocco, France, Spain, and Italy. The operation builds on previous efforts, ensuring a robust framework for assisting Moroccans living overseas.

In Morocco, 20 reception centers will be strategically located at major transit points, including ports and airports. These centers will facilitate the arrival and return of Moroccans, providing essential services during their journeys.

Additionally, six Marhaba centers will operate at European ports, ensuring that support is accessible to Moroccans arriving from abroad. This coordinated effort reflects Morocco’s commitment to its diaspora.
