Liberian President Appoints New Officials to Key Government Institutions

Recent appointments in Liberia’s key institutions signal a shift in leadership aimed at enhancing public service.

The Liberian President has nominated several officials for important roles across the Liberia Broadcasting System, Liberia National Tourism Authority, and the Liberian Bank for Development and Investment. These nominations are subject to confirmation by the Liberian Senate.

New Leadership at Liberia Broadcasting System

The Liberia Broadcasting System will see Ms. Alexandra Amnon take on the role of Deputy Director General for Administration, replacing Madam Kiadiatu Konteh-Brohiri, who is set for reassignment. Additionally, Mr. J. Patrick Okai has been nominated as Deputy Director General for Public Affairs.

Liberia National Tourism Authority Appointments

At the Liberia National Tourism Authority, Mrs. Jani Kadiyatu Kollie will serve as Deputy Director General for Marketing and Promotions. Mr. Steveson Tweh Seidi has been appointed as Deputy Director General for Culture and Heritage, both crucial roles for promoting Liberia’s tourism sector.
