Egypt is positioning itself as a key player in natural gas exploration with new investment opportunities.

Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Karim Badawi met with TotalEnergies to discuss investment in the Herodotus Basin, a region with significant exploration potential. The discussions highlighted the company’s interest in boosting natural gas production through an intensive exploration program.

Egypt’s Strategy to Boost Natural Gas Production

Badawi emphasized that expanding exploration activities is crucial for increasing gas output.
