Chairman Ahmed Adel recently met with a British delegation in Cairo to discuss plans for updating the airline’s fleet and enhancing technical training. The meeting highlighted potential partnerships with international manufacturers and strategies to increase flights between Egypt and the UK.

EgyptAir’s Fleet Modernization Plans

The meeting focused on EgyptAir’s long-term strategy to update its fleet. Discussions included various funding options for acquiring new aircraft. The airline aims to partner with international manufacturers to ensure a smooth transition to a more modern fleet.

Increasing the number of flights between Egypt and the UK was another key topic. Currently, EgyptAir operates 28 flights a week to the UK, including daily services to London and regular flights to Manchester. Expanding the flight network aims to facilitate trade and boost tourism.
