The Ojo Local Government Area in Lagos is taking significant steps to support education.

Chairman Mrs. Muhibat Rufai-Adeyemi has launched a distribution of 110,000 exercise books and 10,000 school bags to pupils in 24 primary schools. This initiative marks the beginning of a new school term and reflects a commitment to enhancing educational resources.

Distribution of Educational Materials in Lagos

The distribution event was marked by a flag-off ceremony, emphasizing the importance of the initiative. Mrs. Rufai-Adeyemi highlighted that the exercise books, available in both 40 and 60 leaves, are essential tools for learning. Lagos Education Commitment and Future Plans

The Chairman noted that this initiative is a continuation of previous educational projects launched within the first 100 days of her tenure. The distribution of exercise books and bags is seen as a vital phase in fulfilling the administration’s promise to enhance educational support.

Next Steps in Educational Support

  • Delivery of materials to schools will occur in the coming days.
  • Continued focus on educational support initiatives is planned.

This initiative underscores a strong commitment to improving education in Lagos.
