“Unveiling Luxury: Hisham Talaat Moustafa Introduces the Stunning New Four Seasons Hotel in Giza!”

Exciting News for Egypt's Hospitality Scene: Four Seasons Hotel Complex in Giza Under Construction!

In a move that is set to enhance Egypt’s already vibrant tourism landscape, the Talaat Moustafa Group (TMG) Holdings, helmed by prominent Egyptian billionaire Hisham Talaat Moustafa, has officially begun construction on a new Four Seasons hotel complex right behind the iconic Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) in Giza. Covering an impressive 350,000 square meters, this development is poised to become one of the most prestigious hospitality destinations in West Cairo upon completion.

This hotel is the result of a longstanding collaboration between TMG and Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts, a partnership that has flourished for over two decades. The duo has been behind the successful launch of luxurious Four Seasons properties in Cairo and Alexandria, and they are currently working on exciting new projects in Luxor, Madinaty, and along the stunning North Coast of Egypt.

A Strategic Move to Boost Tourism

The construction of this hotel comes at a strategic time as Egypt seeks to reshape the tourism experience around the Pyramids Plateau and the GEM area into an attractive tourism hub aimed at drawing in high-spending visitors. TMG planners have some innovative ideas for this hotel, including private access points and pedestrian tunnels that will seamlessly connect guests to the Grand Egyptian Museum. This design aims to create a traffic-free experience, allowing visitors to explore one of the world’s most significant archaeological sites with ease.

Guests can expect luxurious accommodations featuring hotel rooms and suites, a variety of dining options, state-of-the-art meeting facilities, and stunning landscaped outdoor areas. TMG anticipates that the hotel will open its doors within three years, and given the current market conditions, demand for premium stays remains robust, with room rates in upscale hotels across Cairo exceeding ,000 per night.

TMG's Sustained Success

Established in 1974, TMG has earned its status as one of Egypt’s most valuable listed real estate developers, known for creating upscale communities and mixed-use projects. With Hisham Talaat Moustafa at the helm, who maintains a 43% share in the company, TMG has consistently seen growth, both domestically and in the Gulf region.

Its financial performance underscores this trajectory, with reported first-half 2025 sales reaching an impressive .3 billion – a staggering 59% increase from the previous year, largely fueled by strong demand for coastal and urban developments such as Madinaty and the innovative SouthMed project on the North Coast. With ambitious plans, including a lifetime sales target of .4 billion for the Sharm Bay development and continued investment in SouthMed, TMG is not slowing down.

The introduction of the new Four Seasons hotel complex behind the GEM will not only enhance TMG’s portfolio but will also serve as a significant asset in a vital tourism corridor. As Egypt works to increase both visitor numbers and the contribution of tourism to the national GDP, this project represents a promising step toward achieving those lofty goals.
