Exciting New Mobile Home Community Unveiled in Divundu, Rundu, and Katima Mulilo!

Mobile Telecommunications Ltd, better known as MTC, is making strides in expanding its service access across Namibia. The telecom giant has recently announced the opening of three new Mobile Homes—its first in Divundu and the second in Rundu and Katima Mulilo. These new locations are set to officially welcome customers in the first week of November, providing enhanced accessibility to essential telecommunications services.

MTC’s Chief Commercial Officer, Octivius Kahiya, emphasized that this initiative is part of a broader expansion strategy aimed at reaching more residents in underserved areas. “The establishment of these new Mobile Homes reflects our commitment to making it easier for citizens to access crucial MTC services. With our first retail presence now in Divundu, locals will no longer need to travel to Rundu for services. Additionally, our new shops in Rundu and Katima Mulilo cater to the towns’ growing populations, addressing the increasing demand that has made queues at our existing locations quite lengthy,” Kahiya explained.

These retail hubs are more than just shops; they serve as service hotspots equipped to offer a complete range of telecommunications and digital financial services. From account payments to device purchases, SIM replacements, and airtime purchases, these Mobile Homes will significantly enhance convenience for local customers, making telecommunications easily accessible.

This latest expansion comes on the heels of two new MTC shops opened in Windhoek and Omuthiya earlier this year. With the addition of the five Mobile Homes launched in just four months, MTC is clearly committed to elevating customer service and making essential communication services available to more Namibians.

Kahiya reiterated, “Our dedication to enhancing customer service stands at the core of our operations. We are continually exploring ways to simplify and enrich the lives of our people.” This commitment not only signals a positive move for MTC in terms of business growth but also highlights its role in supporting local communities by enhancing access to vital services.

As MTC continues expansive developments, residents in Divundu, Rundu, and Katima Mulilo can look forward to a brighter future with improved connectivity options. This venture further strengthens MTC’s position as a leader in the Namibian telecommunications landscape, reaffirming its commitment to community service and customer satisfaction.
