Premier Academy Shines Again: 16-Year-Old Pacesetter Achieves Perfect 360 in UTME!

21 Students of Premiere Academy Excel in 2025 UTME Results!

In an impressive display of academic excellence, 21 students from Premiere Academy, Lugbe, Abuja, have emerged among the top achievers in the 2025 Unified Tertiary and Matriculation Examinations (UTME), scoring above 300 out of a possible 400 marks. This outstanding accomplishment positions Premiere Academy as one of the leading secondary institutions in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), reinforcing its reputation for academic prowess.

Leading this cohort is 16-year-old Ogunmolu Olaoluwa, who secured an impressive score of 360 by excelling in a challenging combination of subjects: English, Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. Close on his heels are his fellow students: 17-year-old Makrop Favour with a score of 357 and Abduljalil Ishiaku with 345. In total, six students scored between 328 and 338, while five others scored between 311 and 327, demonstrating a remarkable collective effort from the student body.

Out of the 61 students who sat for the examination, not a single individual scored below the widely accepted minimum of 200, showcasing the high academic standards that Premiere Academy maintains. This significant achievement serves as a beacon of hope and success in a nationwide landscape where student performances have raised concerns.

Mr. Chris Akinsowon, the principal of Premiere Academy, expressed pride in the students’ achievements, attributing their success to the school’s long-standing tradition of competitiveness, ethics, and hard work. “These results highlight the holistic culture of excellence we foster at Premiere Academy,” he stated. “Our commitment to providing a solid foundation enables our students to excel not only academically but in all facets of life.”

The principal also recognized the vital role of the School Board and parents in nurturing such an environment. The collaborative efforts between the Board, Management, and parents contribute significantly to the outstanding learning conditions at Premiere Academy. With ongoing investments and a dedication to fostering an enriching atmosphere, the school encourages its students to engage with cutting-edge technologies and diverse fields of study.

“Education should evolve to reflect global trends and aspirations. We’re committed to equipping our students with the skills necessary for modern challenges,” added Akinsowon. He reasserted the school’s philosophy of integrating academic rigor with essential life skills like creativity, teamwork, and leadership, ensuring students are fully prepared for future challenges.

As Premiere Academy continues to elevate educational standards, its students represent a bright future for Nigeria’s academic landscape, inspiring confidence that the next generation will embrace and overcome the complexities of our ever-changing world.
