“Exciting Dual Guineas Challenge Ahead: Bin Suroor Sets Sights on Victory!”

Title: Saeed bin Suroor Sets Sights on Guineas with Promising Young Stars

As the racing season heats up, renowned trainer Saeed bin Suroor is quietly confident, focusing on two promising talents in his stable—Tornado Alert and Elwateen. While the depth of his stable may have shifted over the years, the potential showcased by these young horses is undeniable, as they build momentum toward the prestigious Guineas.

Tornado Alert, a colt who made a splash with a third-place finish on his debut, has since proven his mettle by clinching victory at Newcastle. Notably, he bested colts from heavyweights John and Thady Gosden and Charlie Appleby, signaling his competitiveness among the best in the field. This young horse is not just one to watch; he embodies the spirit of resilience and talent that defines the racing community.

Elwateen, another star in the making, competes under the respected Shadwell colours and has already left a lasting impression from her earlier start at two. Although minor setbacks kept her off the track, her return to full training has coaches and fans alike buzzing with excitement. Bin Suroor expressed optimism about her progress, stating, “She worked on Tuesday morning and she’s doing nicely, she worked well. If everything continues to go well, she could go straight to the Guineas.”

The collaboration between Tornado Alert and Elwateen is also noteworthy, as they’ve been working together in training. Bin Suroor remarked on their progress, emphasizing, “We’re stepping it up with them but so far they are doing well.” Looking ahead, Tornado Alert is poised for a direct approach to the Guineas without running in a trial, showcasing the confidence Bin Suroor has in his ability.

Despite a smaller team this season—a total of 40 horses—Bin Suroor continues to aim high, with aspirations of finding the next Group One champion. Recently, he celebrated a victory in Dubai with Dubai Future and now has an impressive total of 196 Group One wins worldwide. “Who knows if I can make it to 200. We’ll try to get there,” he noted with determination.

As the excitement of the racing season builds, all eyes will be on Tornado Alert and Elwateen to see if they can carry their early promise into the spotlight of the Guineas. With Saeed bin Suroor at the helm, supporters can expect strategic training and a spirited chase for glory.

Stay tuned for updates as these aspiring horses prepare to leave their mark in racing history!
