As we dive into the second week of February, the Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) is painting a promising picture for the weather enthusiasts across the nation. Today’s forecast unveils moderately cold yet comfortable conditions that will grace the vibrant streets of Cairo and the scenic North Coast throughout the daylight hours. This seasonal shift offers a welcome respite from the sweltering heat, signaling the perfect time for outdoor explorations and cultural events.

In the northern regions, including Lower Egypt, residents can expect similar moderate weather while the South Sinai and South Upper Egypt bask in pleasantly warm temperatures. The gentle winds will intermittently sweep through the North Coast, adding a refreshing touch to the atmosphere. These weather patterns provide an excellent backdrop for visitors looking to discover the rich culture and stunning landscapes of Egypt.

If you’re in the mood for some light rain, the Northwest Coast might deliver just that, making it an ideal scenario for those cozy indoor moments or leisurely strolls under umbrellas. Light to medium showers are also expected to grace the North Coast and parts of North Lower Egypt, providing a much-needed boost to the local environment.

Water adventurers will find the Mediterranean and Red Sea accommodating, with moderate waves ranging between 1.5 to 2 meters, offering an exhilarating experience for both seasoned sailors and beachgoers alike. These winds will also serve to maintain visibility and add excitement to sea sports.

Though the daytime will be moderately cool, an extra layer will be necessary during the early hours and late at night when temperatures dip. Expect to see a high of 17°C in Cairo and Alexandria, 16°C in Marsa Matruh, and a warmer 22°C in both Qena and Aswan.

Whether you’re spending the day in the bustling heart of Cairo or the serene beaches of the North Coast, today’s weather invites everyone to relish in the natural beauty and vibrant life Egypt has to offer. Enjoy the mild winter magic!
