Ibnsina Pharma Partners with YANMU to Revolutionize Pharmaceutical Supply Chain in Egypt
In an exciting development for Egypt’s healthcare sector, Ibnsina Pharma has officially signed a lease agreement with YANMU, marking a significant step towards enhancing the country’s pharmaceutical supply chain. This collaboration aims to provide sustainable and efficient distribution solutions to meet the growing demand for pharmaceutical products across Egypt. According to a recent announcement from Africazine, Ibnsina Pharma, which is listed on the Egyptian Exchange (EGX), has secured over 11,000 square meters of warehouse space in YANMU’s state-of-the-art logistics facility.
The Managing Director of Ibnsina Pharma, Mohsen Mahgoub, spoke passionately about this new venture, emphasizing its crucial role in streamlining operations. “This facility not only enhances our operational efficiency but also aligns with our strategy to expand with a light asset model through collaboration with industrial developers without putting pressure on our cash flow. It will also allow us to better serve our clients and ensure timely access to essential medications for healthcare providers and patients throughout Egypt,” he explained.
Moreover, Karim Hefzy, Chief Operating Officer of Hasan Allam Utilities – one of the partners behind YANMU – expressed confidence in the partnership’s potential to elevate customer satisfaction and operational capabilities. He stated, “With our modern, sustainable complex and comprehensive facilities, we are confident that Ibnsina Pharma will benefit from enhanced operational capabilities and customer satisfaction.”
This collaboration comes at a pivotal moment as Egypt continues to prioritize advancements in its pharmaceutical infrastructure. The YANMU Logistics Park is the result of a joint venture involving HAU Logistics, which is a strategic partnership between Hassan Allam Utilities and A.P. Moller, alongside Agility.
By improving the supply chain, Ibnsina Pharma and YANMU are not only contributing to the local economy but are also ensuring that healthcare provisions in Egypt are timely and efficient. As both companies gear up for this new chapter, it’s clear that they are committed to empowering the nation’s healthcare sector and providing accessible medical solutions for all.
This partnership highlights the importance of innovation in logistics and reinforces the potential for collaborations between private entities to enhance public health infrastructure. As Egypt embraces these progressive changes, the prospects for a more robust healthcare system become increasingly promising.
