Gallagher Security Launches Innovative Virtual Classroom in Asia for Enhanced Technician Training

#TechNews #BusinessNews #WorldNews

Gallagher Security, a leading global security solutions provider, has recently unveiled its cutting-edge cloud-based training solution, the “Virtual Classroom,” aimed at significantly boosting training opportunities for technicians across Asia. With a commitment to innovation and quality, Gallagher is once again setting the bar high in the training domain, ensuring that technicians have access to invaluable resources whenever they need them.

This new initiative emerges from Gallagher’s ongoing mission to create a “gold standard” in training environments. According to Danielle Mitchell, Training Manager for APAC & IMEA, the Virtual Classroom is designed to offer the same convenience and affordability that Channel Partners enjoy through online training, but with an added twist of direct engagement. “Virtual Classroom training fosters a hands-on product experience while giving trainees the advantage of learning from experts—all while being comfortably situated at home or in their workplace,” she explains.

The Virtual Classroom operates on a simple yet effective premise: each participant receives a link to the course, allowing them to access a web-based Command Centre and virtual hardware during training sessions delivered via Microsoft Teams. This not only eliminates the need for physical shipping of training kits, which often causes delays, but also enhances accessibility, significantly shortening wait times for eager learners wanting to upgrade their skills.

Since its initial rollout in Australia and Papua New Guinea earlier this year, Gallagher has already seen a remarkable surge, providing 43% more courses and attracting over 300 technicians to the new platform. This success story underscores Gallagher’s commitment to making high-quality training widely available, and it is expected to follow suit as the Virtual Classroom is introduced across Asia for Access Technician and Access Engineer courses.

Looking ahead, Gallagher has ambitious plans to expand its training offerings even further. Scott Bell, the Training Solutions Lead, hinted at exciting future developments that promise to enhance user experience and make training even more accessible. “Asia is the next frontier for Virtual Classroom, and we’re eager to elevate the learning experience,” he shared.

Joe Fan, Regional Marketing Manager, emphasized the strategic significance of this new training platform. “The introduction of our Virtual Classroom is a pivotal development for us as we aim to scale our quality training capabilities across Asia,” he said. “We’re excited to see how our virtual training evolves, keeping pace with technological advancements and the needs of our learners.”

As businesses worldwide continue to adapt to hybrid working environments, initiatives like Gallagher’s Virtual Classroom are becoming essential in providing employees with flexible, yet effective, training solutions. This innovative approach not only reflects Gallagher’s dedication to excellence but also positions the company as a forward-thinking leader in the security industry.
