Exciting Leadership Shift: Grace Luvindao Takes the Helm as Namdeb’s Corporate Affairs Manager!

Namdeb Welcomes Grace Luvindao as New Corporate Affairs Manager

In an exciting development for the corporate landscape of Namibia, Namdeb has recently appointed Grace Luvindao as their new Corporate Affairs Manager. Luvindao’s extensive experience in communication, public relations, and stakeholder engagement is sure to bring fresh perspectives and innovative strategies to the role.

Before joining Namdeb, Luvindao played a vital role as the Group Communications and Stakeholder Engagement Manager at Capricorn Group. Her responsibilities in that position included the development and implementation of strategies that aligned with the group’s goals, focusing on enhancing stakeholder relationships and managing both internal and external communications. Under her stewardship, Capricorn Group made significant strides in fostering transparent and effective communication channels.

Luvindao’s academic credentials further complement her professional experience. She holds a degree in Media Studies with a concentration in Public Relations and Advertising from the University of Namibia. Additionally, she earned a Master’s degree in Media and International Development from the University of East Anglia and is currently pursuing a Post-Graduate Diploma in Business Administration at the Namibia Business School. This impressive educational background equips her with the necessary tools to navigate the complexities of corporate communications and stakeholder engagement in the mining sector.

Pauline Thomas, Namdeb’s Head of Corporate Affairs & Sustainable Impact, expressed enthusiasm about Luvindao’s appointment, highlighting her pivotal role in shaping Namdeb’s corporate affairs strategies. “Grace will be instrumental in aligning our corporate affairs initiatives with our strategic objectives, particularly in furthering our purpose of ‘Mining for Good.’ This commitment aims to ensure we contribute positively to the communities we serve while fostering a sustainable future,” Thomas stated.

The appointment of Luvindao is more than just a professional transition; it’s a step towards enhancing the community engagement and sustainable practices that Namdeb is recognized for. As the mining industry continues to evolve, Luvindao’s leadership is expected to help drive initiatives that not only focus on operational success but also prioritize social responsibility and environmental stewardship.

This new chapter for Namdeb and Luvindao promises to enrich both corporate culture and community relations, reflecting the growing acknowledgment of sustainable practices in African businesses.
