About Acid For Squares

Acid For Squares is the brainchild of husband-and-wife duo Cody Blue Snider and Tanya Dahl. Snider is the youngest son of rock legend Dee Snider, as well as an international award-winning writer/director, currently under contract adapting the hit watt-pad webtoons comic “Love Advice From The Great Duke Of Hell” into a movie for Ron Howard & Brian Grazer’s Imagine Entertainment. Tanya Dahl is a seasoned media executive known for her work as a Director / Creative Director hybrid specializing in original short-form content, commercials, docs, and digital media. Together, they bring over 30 years of combined experience in Hollywood, having worked with industry giants like Warner Brothers, Disney, and Sony.

Vision and Mission

Acid For Squares focuses on producing content that subverts expectations, laughs at conformity, and delves into topics like the supernatural, psychedelics, UFOs, and metaphysics. The company creates across multiple mediums, including film, TV, podcasts, documentaries, digital shows, social media, clothing, and events.

Tanya Dahl: “We are custodians of the creative essence, nurturing the voices of channels, artists, and visionaries. In the twilight of antiquated systems, we pioneer the construction of new paradigms forged for a world reborn. Rooted in the ethos of artistic unity, our company stands as a beacon of transformation, dedicated to catalyzing global change through the power of creativity.”

Cody Blue Snider: “After many years in Hollywood, it has become apparent that the overarching goal of the mainstream media machine is to preserve itself at all costs, even if it means burying the most important stories in the world or creating content that preys upon the lower faculties of the human mind. That is something we refuse to do and will no longer take part in. We have created Acid For Squares as an artistic antidote to the cultural orthodoxies that have imprisoned us in a world of illusion and kept us from discovering the true nature of reality.”

Innovative Projects

The company’s first project was the hit psychedelic podcast “Awakened Underground,” which skyrocketed to the top of the charts worldwide and was nominated for a 2023 iHeartRadio Podcast Award. They are currently casting the feature adaptation of Cody Blue’s short film FOOL’S DAY, produced by Edward Norton & Bill Migliore (Manchester By The Sea), which was formerly set up at New Line Cinema with Margot Robbie and Michael Shannon starring. They also have in development an adult animated TV show titled ‘GENESIS,’ with Executive Producer David Silverman, the Emmy award-winning director/producer of The Simpsons. In addition to their film & TV slate, they will produce a new weekly podcast, “ACID FOR SQUARES,” and a sleight of groundbreaking digital shows that will explore psycho-spiritual phenomena in a way that has never been seen before.
