Leadership

Experience
This would be Musa’s fourth Africa Cup of Nations, as he was present in the 2013, 2019, and 2021 editions.
He was part of the squad that won the tournament in South Africa in 2013, scoring one goal in the semi-final against Mali.
The Sivasspor forward remains Nigeria’s all-time highest goalscorer in the FIFA World Cup.
Musa has turned up on different occasions for the team on the big stage; sharing his experience with the youngsters in the team could be one of the ‘ingredients’ needed to win Nigeria’s fourth AFCON title.
