President General of Nigeria Football Supporters Club, Dr. Rafiu Oladipo has said that he’s confident the Super Eagles will fly over Elephants of Cote d’Ivoire in their second Group A match today at the ongoing AFCON, even as he charged the players to approach the game with full commitment.
The Super Eagles played out a 1-1 draw with Equatorial Guinea in their first Group match on Sunday and will be needing a victory against the host nation toay to boost their chances of progressing to the next stage of the tournament.
Speaking on the match, Ladipo expressed optimism that the Coach Jose Paseiro tutored side will come out victorious once they play with what he described as 100% plus , plus commitment.
“I have no doubt in my mind that the Super Eagles will not only put up a better performance against Elephants of Cote d’Ivoire but will come out victorious on Thursday.
” All they needed to do is to play with 100% plus, plus commitment and I can assure you that once that’s done, victory will come their way.”
According to him, there is need for the coaching crew to be mindful of tactical and better changes before and during the match as that will go a long way in ensuring they grab the three points at stake.
He promised the team that they will not be lacking support as members of Nigeria Football Supporters Club from Nigeria, Ghana, Cote d’Ivoire, Cameroon and international branches are on ground to give them the maximum support needed to win the match.
