CAF’s Save of the Day award goes to Nwabali.

Thursday’s victory over Cote d’Ivoire, Nigerian goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali was named Save of the Day.

In the first half, Nwabali made an incredible stop to keep Jean Philippe Krasso at bay.

In his four Super Eagles games, it was the first time he had kept a clean sheet.

Despite his lack of international experience, the 27-year-old showed confidence in the game.

When the Super Eagles play Guinea-Bissau in their last group match, Nwabali will be hoping to continue on their current winning streak.

Next week, the game is scheduled to take place at the Felix Houphouet Boigny Stadium in Abidjan.
