Bafana Bafana talent Thapelo Maseko has revealed what he ideally looks for when choosing his ideal car. Here’s a look!

The story

Before flying off to the Africa Cup of Nations in the Ivory Coast with Bafana, the 21-year-old visited a Hyundai dealership in Midrand, where he got to explore some of the Japanese brand’s top cars.

He was asked what he ideally looks for in the car, to which he responded: “I look for nice features, ones that are advance. I like the Hyundai Kona N-Line. It’s the one that stands out for me. Probably one day I can get one.”

The Kona N is considered a high-performance SUV, with precise control and racetrack capabilities.

According to Hyundai South Africa, the ride boasts some stunning features Maseko would appreciate, such as “Drive mode, Paddle Shift, Red Brake Calipers with ‘N’ logo & Electronic Limited Slip Differential to ensure you feel that feeling on every exhilarating drive.”

In addition to its sheer driving comfort, the car is also said to be engineered for safety, making it an easy whip to enjoy when going about your regular day-to-day errands.

These safety features include “6-Airbag System, Forward & Blind-Spot Collision-avoidance assist, Lane Keeping & Following Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control, Electric Adjustable Front Seats & Lumbar Support (driver) and more.”

With Maseko having admitted he would like one someday, there’s very little reason to believe he won’t as, he is increasingly becoming one of the top players in South Africa.

The winger has already left his mark on the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations, where he scored the final goal in a 4-0 win over Namibia.

The former SuperSport United player featured in all three group games against Mali, Namibia, as well as Tunisia on Wednesday, helping his country qualify for the round of 16 for the second successive tournament.
