AFCON 2023: SuperSport will not televise tournament

SuperSport, Africa’s biggest pay TV broadcaster, will not broadcast the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).

This is because the broadcaster has not been ‘able to secure rights for the tournament’.

SuperSport disclosed this in a statement on Wednesday.

However, the 2023 AFCON will be available on Free To Air (FTA) Channels.

The 2023 AFCON is scheduled for January 13th – February 11th, 2024.

Ivory Coast is the host nation for the 2023 AFCON.
