Abidjan- Côte d’Ivoire – Super Eagles captain Ahmed Musa relishes the idea of leading Nigeria to their fourth Africa Cup of Nations title in the Ivory Coast.
Having been part of the 2013 squad that won the continental showpiece in South Africa, Musa says his dream is to win it again.
Nigeria begin their quest for another AFCON title when they take on Equatorial Guinea on Sunday, January 14.
Leading the 25-man list by Jose Peseiro is the country’s most-capped player, Ahmed Musa.
The Sivasspor of Turkey star appeared at the pre-match conference inside Palais de la Culture de Treichville, looking excited ahead of the massive fixture, Daily Post reports.

The former CSKA Moscow star urged Nigerian fans to give total support to the team. He said:
“It is my dream to win AFCON again. It is my big dream to win AFCON again and also as a captain. If you don’t believe in us, it is your opinion.
“We believe in ourselves and we will work hard. We trust the goalkeepers and all the players in camp.”
Musa also disclosed that it is up to the coach to decide the players in the starting line-up. He added:
“I don’t talk or dictate to coach when I’m not being introduced in games. If the coach feels I’m good to play or not, it is his decision.”
