Côte d’Ivoire After Scoring 1st Goal, AFCON 2023
Yesterday, Côte d’Ivoire succeded in stunning the nets of Guinea Bissau 2-0, at the Alassane Ouattara stadium in Abidjan, in the opening game for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
Ivory Coast succeded in capturing the first three points and to top Group A temporarily before the continuation of the Round 1 competitions for their group.
Seko Fofana scored the first goal for Ivory Coast in 4:00, while Jean-Philippe Krasso scored the second for the host country’s team in 58.
The competitions of Round 1 for Group A will be concluded on Sunday when Nigeria meet Equatorial Guinea.
