Enoc Group has rolled out UAE’s largest Tasjeel Auto Village in Ras Al Khaimah.
Tasjeel, a joint venture between Enoc and Dubai Police, was set up in 1999, and seven years later, Tasjeel took over vehicle testing from Sharjah Police, becoming the testing and registration provider in the northern emirate. 22 sites and four mobile units in Dubai, Sharjah, Al Dhaid and Kalba are presently owned and operated by it.
Services for motorists’ vehicle testing and registration needs will be enhanced by the new Tasjeel RAK Auto Village in Ras Al Khaimah, which covers an area of over 50,000 sq m. The facility, which has been designed and built to international best practices in the retail fuel industry, also complies with Barjeel, Ras Al Khaimah’s green building regulations. To safeguard any environmental contamination, UL Certified double wall tanks and double wall fuel piping is used with secondary containment.
Ensuring maximum allowed and safe flow rate as per NFPA guidelines to reduce refueling time is the fuel system, which is fully automated with auto tank gauging and electronic leak detection system. To enable refueling vehicles from both sides, the dispensers are built with retractable hoses. A service station, Zoom convenience store, AutoPro, carwash, restaurants and F&B (food and beverages) outlets, feature the full suite of Enoc retail services and offerings at the facility.
Tasjeel RAK Auto Village has eight test bays, which is equipped to serve more than 1,000 vehicles daily, with more to be added as demand increases, including bays for motorbikes and fleet customers. All procedures related to testing and registration including payment of fines, insurance, renewal and registration, can be completed by motorists.
Saif Humaid Al Falasi, Group CEO of Enoc, stated that the opening of their new Tasjeel Rak Auto Village is a testament of their commitment to strengthening their presence in Ras Al Khaimah and the Northern Emirates and to bring their services closer to customers. “We are confident that the Tasjeel RAK Auto Village will provide a destination to process residents’ vehicle testing and registration and automotive needs, all under one roof, ensuring safety to our community,” he added.
Eight multimedia dispensers are furnished at the Enoc service station facility while the Zoom convenience store is equipped with digital displays, set on an area of over 3,000 sq ft, offering a diverse offering of over 7,500 products including organic goods and exclusive imports. Pronto is also present serving fresh beverages and delicious snacks. In addition, four restaurants including two drive-through outlets are available at the facility.
“Customers can access a wide range of services at the Zoom store, including utility and credit card payments, Salik top-up, and flydubai booking payments. The Auto Village accepts all payment methods including ViP, Apple Pay, Samsung Pay, Google Pay, ENOCPay, credit card and cash,” said Al Falasi. PWKD03122019
