Tunisia – INLUCC: 118.819 people have declared their assets at the end of the prescribed time limits


Some 118.819 the persons concerned by the declaration of their assets, out of a total of 350 thousand, have declared their assets at the end of the prescribed time limits, namely at midnight on 31 December, said the national authority of fight against corruption.

The number of tax filers who received a receipt of deposit amounted to 106.695, which 89.075 via the electronic platform (Tasrih.tn).

The INLUCC specifies that 12.124 people registered on the platform, without, however, having finished filling in the required fields on the online form.

On Monday, the Forum has reminded those who have not yet provided their declaration of assets as the deadline is Monday December 31 at midnight, contrary to what has been relayed in some media An additional period of fifteen calendar days was granted, on 17 December last, the laggards.

The INLUCC has, in addition, stated that at the expiration of the prescribed time limits, a written warning will be sent to latecomers and people who have not finished filling out their form, inviting them to regularize their status at the latest within a period of one month from the date of receipt of the warning, and, in accordance with article 46 of the law on declaration of assets and interests and the fight against illicit enrichment and conflicts of interest.

In the case of non-response, the person will be regarded as refractory, indicates the INLUCC.
