Tunisia : total Eclipse of the moon observed Monday, January 21, 2019 (Program of the cité des sciences)
A total eclipse of the moon will be visible in Tunisia in the early morning of Monday 21 January 2019. This first total eclipse lunar of 2019, which will be combined with a “super moon” will begin at 4h33 and reach its maximum at 6: 12 to end at 8h48 in the morning.
The total eclipse of the moon will be observable in other countries of the world particularly by the people of the Atlantic facade (North America, South America, Africa, and Europe) that they will be able to attend the show of the “super blood moon”; an astronomical phenomenon rare, which combines two events, the super moon (the moon which coincides with a minimum distance of the satellite to the Earth.) and a total lunar eclipse.
The Moon will be large and will cross again in the shadow of his big companion the Earth. This Super Moon will stage a total lunar eclipse that will be observable from Tunisia.
The cité des sciences in Tunis will cover this astronomical event exceptional in collaboration with the Astronomical Society of Tunisia starting from Sunday, January 20, 2019.
Program of the Cité des sciences on the occasion of the eclipse of the moon observed in Tunisia :
– Sunday, January 20, 2019: from 09h to 14h, fun workshops explaining the phenomenon of the eclipse, of the guided visits in the Pavilion of the Universe on the theme of the eclipse and a conference titled “lunar Eclipse of January 21, 2019”.
– Monday, January 21, 2019: from 03: 00 in the morning, watching live streaming of the éclipe total lunar and organization of workshops observations of the eclipse by telescope, the Cité des Sciences in Tunis is organizing two conferences on the eclipse, and comets.
