Former Minister of Public Health Assane Nguedoum is buried on Saturday, February 16, 2019 at the Lamadji cemetery. He was accompanied to his last home by family members, political friends and other acquaintances.
Assane Ngueadoum died in Paris, France, on February 12th. Assane Ngueadoum was Minister Secretary of State for Public Health and then Minister of the said department. He held these posts as part of the political agreement reached between the party RDP (Rally for Democracy and Progress) and the MPS (Patriotic Movement of Salvation) party in power during the last presidential election.
While the ministry of health, he was notably President of the Monitoring Committee of the recommendations of the 65th session of the World Health Organization.
Senior Executive Assane Ngueadoum has held senior positions, including heads of service, director, coordinator and UN focal point on mine clearance in Chad. These relatives describe him as an affable man, good living and sociable who had friends in all circles.
He died at the age of 54, Assane Ngueadoum leaves behind him a widow and an orphan.
