South Africa and Ghana face off in the third/fourth play-off for the Africa Cup of Nations U-23 with the Olympic games qualification on the line.
David Notoane’s side has managed just one goal in their four games at the tournament‚ through a stunning Teboho Mokoena free-kick before their semi-final exit at the hands of hosts Egypt.
Meanwhile, Ghana, who are in their first U23 AFCON since it’s inception were knocked out at the last-four stage by Ivory Coast on penalties after the game finished 2-2.
“This match will be all the more difficult because there is nothing left behind,” Notoane said before the game.
“After missing the title, the team is focused on getting this qualification at the Olympics.”
