Round II projects comprise two ‘Category A’ photovoltaic projects namely Rafha and Madinah stations, and four ‘Category B’ projects which include Al-Faisaliah, Jeddah, Rabigh, and Al-Qurayat stations.

The bidding documents for Category B projects will be issued July 18, 2019, while those for Category A projects will be available on Aug.1, 2019.

NREP is a strategic initiative under Vision 2030 and the King Salman Renewable Energy Initiative, aiming to maximize the potential of renewable energy in Saudi Arabia.
