The Prime Minister and Head of Government received on Monday the visit of the new Turkish Ambassador accredited to the Republic of Guinea. The Turkish diplomat had come to present his letter of credit to the tenant of the Palais de la Colombe. After the warm handshake, the Prime Minister welcomed the Turkish diplomat, while recalling the excellent relationship between Presidents Alpha Condé and Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
In response, Turkish diplomat Hilmi Ege Turemen highlighted her eagerness to work with the Prime Minister and his Government in seeking new avenues of cooperation between Conakry and Ankara. After the hearing, the new Turkish Ambassador emphasized the strengthening of economic cooperation between the two countries: "In 2018, the volume of trade between our two countries was $ 200 million. This figure will be revised to $ 300 million in the coming years, "said the Turkish diplomat.
