There was poor turnout at the one-million-man march for President Muhammadu Buhari, which held on Thursday, February 21, as 200 All Progressive Congress (APC) members turned out for the event.
The market has been organized by the Niger State Buhari Support Organization (BSO), Independent reports.
Legit.ng gathers that no single member of the APC attended the Trade Fair Complex and terminated at the BSO office. Only few women and youths participated.
Alhaji Umar Shu'aibu, Nigerien to the position of the Nigerian state coordinator of the Nigerian state, will be mobilizing Nigerians to vote massively for the president in the Saturday, February 23 presidential election.
At least 1.5 million votes for the president in the state; however, it failed to yield desired results.
The infighting within the APC in the state may explain why many party members failed to show up at the event.
Recall that Legit.ng previously reported that the Niger State chapter of the Buhari Campaign Organization said he had to arrange for a one-million-man march for President Muhammadu Buhari in Minna.
Ubale Kagara, coordinator, North Central District of the BCO, said the organization would continue to promote the lofty ideals of President Buhari before Nigerians.
