Dubai: UAE to launch vaccination for children The UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention announced on Monday that synoform vaccine doses will be given to children between the ages of three and 17 years. Earlier, the UAE launched the Vaccination for Adults.
The Ministry has stated that the synoform vaccine for children will be approved immediately after extensive clinical trials and tests. The vaccine will be given based on approval for immediate use and local evaluations in accordance with approved regulations. The vaccine was tested on 900 children in a synopham immune bridge study launched in Abu Dhabi in 2021.
The vaccine was tested with the full consent of the parents of the children under the supervision of the UAE Ministry of Health.
The UAE was the first country in the Middle East and North Africa to study the effectiveness of the vaccine for this age group. Other vaccine manufacturers, such as China, the United States, the United Kingdom, and India, have conducted similar clinical trials over the past few months.
