Today, Wednesday, the United Arab Emirates announced a cabinet reshuffle in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which includes the departure of the country’s ministers, Anwar Gargash and Zaki Nusseibeh.
Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President of the UAE, said – in a tweet – that the ministerial reshuffle resulted in Shakhbout bin Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan and Khalifa Shaheen Al Marar joining the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as two state ministers.
He added that Anwar Gargash would leave the ministry to work as a diplomatic advisor to the head of state, and Zaki Nusseibeh would leave it to work as a cultural advisor to the head of state.
Dr. Zaki Anwar Nusseibeh was also honored with the Union Medal awarded by the President of the State for his long cultural and diplomatic efforts in the service of the Emirates .. At the same time, the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi – Muhammad bin Zayed Al Nahyan – honored both Gargash and Nusseibeh.
