The Sharjah Public Works Department has conducted training of a number of university students in a variety of fields, including engineering and administrative fields, with the aim of providing training opportunities for university students to engage in professional work.
Amani Ali, head of the department of education and employment in the department of human and financial resources, said the plan to educate university students comes in response to the goals of the department’s strategic plan for relations with academic institutions and prepares trainees to practice fieldwork. She added that these educations develop young professional competencies, achieve educational goals professionally and academically and prepare and qualify the candidate to engage in the labor market by interacting with employees and accountants and familiarizing themselves with the development of fieldwork.
