The World Exhibition in Dubai is a built-up district where about 190 countries each with their own pavilion will participate.
The Swedish pavilion “the forest” is a holistic sustainability initiative built entirely of wood and is about 2700 sqm. Focus of the exhibition is sustainability and therefore they have chosen to use OrganoWood on all roof terraces. In total, about 4000 rm OrganoWood select plus 34×145 has been delivered.
The exhibition opens on October 1 and is open until March 2022.
For the Swedish pavilion the first week of November will have a theme week focusing on wood. At the same time the theme for the entire exhibition the same week will be Urban & Rural Development where OrganoWood will participate

OrganoWood was founded in 2010 as a joint-venture between OrganoClick AB (publ) and Kvigos AB and is based on scientific breakthroughs in modification of biofibers. OrganoWood’s chemical products are produced by OrganoClick in Täby, and by the company’s industrial partner Bergs Timber in Nybro that modifies the wood.
