Julius Towers at Caesar’s Palace Dubai, sets the bar even higher – top luxury beach resort in Dubai (REVIEW)

Opened in 2018, Caesar’s Palace Resort Dubai on Bluewaters Island in Dubai has set out ambitious goals to position itself among the finest luxury beach resorts in Dubai. Located on the manmade Bluewaters Island away from the bustle of the city, Caesars’ Palace Dubai features a superb natural sand private beach, which stretches along the entire complex.

The resort has been conceived in two parts, the Palace and then Julius Towers, the first aiming to attract more families with children (although the mix varies depending on school holidays) and the second one targeting couples, groups of friends and even lone traveller.

During my previous stay at the property the Julius Tower was not in operation due to insufficient demand caused by the pandemic. On this occasion, I was utterly surprised of the very high luxury calibre of the entire building, with even more luxurious public spaces but also rooms and suites – which are brighter and many command spectacular panoramic views of the Dubai skyline.

There is a separate outdoor pool (stunning lighting at night) and a wide stretch of sandy beach, all adorned with superb landscaping and impeccably manicured gardens, making one feel like in an island destination, almost like in the Maldives. The experience is serene and secluded, one could find ultimate privacy throughout. Some suites feature frontal floor-to-ceiling glass, picture frame windows. Evenings and mornings are equally mesmerising contemplating at the endless ocean views.

The interior design of the accommodations at Julius Tower is much brighter, with shades of beige and sand colour, brighter lights and over-sized SPA-like bathroom – all in immaculate white marble and brass copper features. All rooms and suites feature bespoke Italian luxury bathroom amenities by Vincenzo Villerosi. Towels and bathrobes are of the finest Egyptian cotton. But the highlight of the suites is the bed, which is one of the most comfortable I have ever experienced, an impeccable mattress and high-thread satin bed linen.

Custom design decor elements by renowned American interior designer Jonathan Adler are effortlessly place throughout all the accommodation. Close attention was also paid to both comfort and functionality – whether you may wish to read a book, work on your laptop or watch TV. Technology is of the highest standards too, with a complex UHD Smart Tv which can centralise all your devices, AC is incredibly swift and smooth, adjusting to the exact set temperature in seconds.

I had the privilege to experience the ocean-front Julius Ocean Suite with private balcony where from the comfort of your lounge seating, the sea comes alive with the sound of crashing waves, fresh seaside scents. The suite is a showcase of contemporary design with inspirational details recalling Rome, all coming together to create the kind of tranquil atmosphere you’d expect to find by the seaside. Every ‘Roman’ reference, whether it is a sketch, painting or decor piece are all tastefully integrated. exuding sophistication

The luxurious lobby of the Julius Tower resembles more like a lounge with carefully conceived design, complemented by a Cafe and an Italian Restaurant, which completes the dining offering of the resorts, which also includes Gordon Ramsey’s Hell’s Kitchen and a Pan-Asian Zhen Wei restaurant. The Roman Lounge is the destination for the finest sweets and pastry as well as afternoon tea. Nevertheless, whether dining by the pool or in one of the venues, food is of superb quality and variety, not to mention accompanied by very high service standards

Havana Social Club is yet another themed venue which pays tribute to 1920s Cuba, offering a curated cigar collection, and an extensive list of the Caribbean’s finest liquors, Havana Social Club serves as the perfect hideout to relax and unwind to the soundtrack of chilled Latin beats. Pork is served at Havana Social Club. Outdoor dining and drinks are also available.

COVE BEACH, Dubai’s must-try lifestyle entertainment destination is right at the heart of the Caesar’s Palace Resorts, offering guests and local patrons a unique vibe with an exceptional mix of live entertainment, elevated dining and sensational weekly themed parties, including beach sports activities.

Guests at Cove Beach can choose to experience the venue’s luxurious yet comfortable style at the Rosé lounge, Two.0 restaurant, 3 incredible pools, or our magnificent Aqua Blue beach. Cove Beach services include fitness, retail, water sports and Shisha to create a one-of-a-kind 360-lifestyle experience, with carefully conceived spaces where one may wish to see and be seen or rather be more private.

The beach and swimming pools are among the best in Dubai, with separate zones for children and adults, with attentive and intuitive service. Guests can also book a private cabana for the day. Make sure you do not miss the Italian home-made artisanal ice-cream which is available by the beach – black charcoal vanilla with gold leaves being a show-stopper.

The Spa is one among the finest among luxury resort hotels in Dubai. Qua Spa in Dubai, the award-winning wellness concept from Las Vegas is based on Japanese technologies and luxurious spa treatments sooth mind and body – with a wide range of signature experiences from facials and body treatments to an array of massages, making it the ultimate spot for the quintessential spa day.

Do not miss the Iyashi Dome (first in Dubai) which uses state-of-the-art infrared rays to deeply cleanse the body, restore its balance and gain efficient and long-lasting slimming effects. Inspired by traditional Japanese practice, ‘Suna Ryoho’ – where the locals bury themselves in the sand near hot springs on the beach to eliminate toxins, this spa treatment also burns up to 600 calories a session, making it a must for wellness connoisseurs looking for a serious detox.

Service throughout the entire resort and all departments is consistent, personalised and intuitive, with a genuine passion to serve. Despite the sheer size of the resort, do not be surprised if most of the staff would address you by your name and would remember what you had for breakfast the day before. Staff are motivated and really work as a team. Local and international Covid-19 safety and hygiene measure have been strictly implemented and continue to be enforced seamlessly without guests necessarily feeling any challenges.

From October 27, AIN DUBAI (Eye of Dubai) will be opening to the public, with Caesar’s Palace Bluewaters Dubai guests enjoying many privileges, including free tickets.
