iOpen Innovations receives the HANTX Allied Partner of the Year Award

McKinney, TX – November 12, 2022.

iOpen Innovations receives the HANTX Allied Partner of the Year Award.

The Hotel Association of North Texas recently awarded iOpen Innovations as Allied Partner of the Year. The award was presented during the Association’s 15th Annual HOSPY Awards & Gala on Nov. 11 at the beautiful Omni Hotel in Downtown Dallas. “iOpen innovations is very dedicated to our success with their involvement and support of the organization”, said Traci Mayer, Executive Director at HANTX.

Barely a year after joining the association, iOpen was nominated. “This came as a complete surprise”, says CEO Don Bahlman. “We believe in always doing the best job we can. Showing up, supporting, and getting involved with the hotel community is a part of that. This goes a long way in helping us build relationships and understand the need.  So, when we get recognized, it’s humbling. Because we’re just doing what we think we should be doing anyway.” Allied Partners were judged on many criteria including active involvement and volunteering.

iOpen Innovations retrofits technology that is SAFE — Sustainable, Aware, Future-Proof, and Efficient. This real-time remote monitoring technology focuses on three key areas. TruVue365 – Cold Storage Monitoring, TruAssist – A Panic Button System for staff, and Room Awareness – which monitors room presence, temperature, and humidity. With an emphasis building on Wellness, the technology that iOpen offers “brings tremendous value as a kind of insurance for F&B”, said Don. “We know some hotels that have lost tens of thousands simply because they were unaware or caught off guard. And it can happen quickly.” iOpen’s system works as an autonomous, independent system with no burden to existing Wi-Fi infrastructure. no hardware replacement is needed and no upfront equipment costs.
