Expo 2020 Dubai: six-day holiday announced

Good news for Dubai government employees: they can benefit from up to six days of paid vacation to experience the wonders of Expo 2020 Dubai.

This decision is in line with directives issued by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai. The idea is that government employees understand the global innovations presented at the World’s Fair which begins its six months on October 1.

Employees can take the time off until the event ends on March 31, 2022.

The event will help refine employee capabilities and prepare them for the future as they witness ideas showcased in 192 pavilions throughout the show.

Sheikh Hamdan said, “Expo 2020 is a unique event that will bring the world to Dubai. They will bring their knowledge, cultures and creativity from all over the world.

“Our aim is to put the Expo theme ‘Connecting Minds, Creating the Future” into concrete action. We want our team to get to grips with creative ideas from around the world. “

The Crown Prince of Dubai stressed that the government has put in place a unique working model, based on creativity.

“The goal is to achieve the highest levels of excellence. It requires reviewing successful experiences to inspire new ideas that will help achieve the ambitious goals set by the UAE as it prepares for the 50 coming years, ”added Sheikh Hamdan.
